Shopping for items, gear, or just about anything will revolve around mercantile shelves, armoires rather than a npc directly.
Currently the system is very simplified, everything you purchase will be located all in one spot in a store.
Exceptions to this are Pawn Merchants, and npcs with have extremely small shops or stalls should be spoken to directly.
Newest Addition: Vend o' Matics!
Automated Public Dispensary Machines, these can be found mostly in the city and can be used when shops close up during the middle of the night. Of course Vend O' Matics do not shy away from potential customers and are available 24/7.
